Born and raised in the greater Los Angeles area, Aaron started his marketing career in 2006 on the Central Coast. For years, he preferred working behind the scenes, assisting businesses with their copywriting and marketing strategies. Aaron co-founded Ochs Creative in 2016 and remains directly involved in the creative and strategic process. Aaron has worked with numerous client brands in the restaurant and hospitality industry. In 2018, Aaron took his decade of marketing and public relations experience into a new direction, expanding the company into business and political consulting. When he’s not in the office, Aaron spends his free time sharpening his analytical skills as an investigative writer and columnist. He is also an active advocate for several local causes, including Save Morro Bay.
Ed joined Billboard Magazine in New York in 1967 as an editor/columnist. His R&B and rock music columns, “Soul Sauce” and “Tomorrow,” were the most widely read weekly features in the music business from 1968 to 1972. After stints with record companies as a creative services and editorial director, Ochs returned to Billboard in 1981 as editorial director, special issues, producing specials for Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones and Barbra Streisand, among many others. He earned Billboard’s highest award for editorial achievement. In addition to Billboard, he has edited or written for The Hollywood Reporter, Music Business International, The Hollywood Reporter, MultiMedia Merchandising, GameWeek, Home Media, Performance and Connected, to name a few. With decades of experience in copywriting, marketing and publishing in the news and entertainment industry, Ed brings an enormous depth of creative prowess to Ochs Creative.
